What I found was although annoying at first, once you learn the Z06 systems and how to engage the horsepower of the car, you will find that the skip shift won't be an aggrevation any longer. Good luck and have fun.
I didnt think i had that light until it popped up on me in traffic 3 years after i bought the car. from what ive gathered there are 3 factors , rpm,throttle position,and mph. as someone mentioned if you drive it right you will never see it. And your rings will seat.
Click on 'install documents' on the left hand side, then scroll down to the transmission area. Click on !CAGS Radio Shack mod. The whole project cost me 80 cents and took 15 minutes.
I just ordered the CAGS elim. & it should be at my door step sometime Friday, as will I. I've been deployed since May & what a nice gift to come home to, 1 day before the real prize arrives. I got to hand it to my wife though. She found the car & sealed the deal. As stated earlier, its an 02 yellow Z, 18K miles, got it for 31K. 1 owner, a 60+ year old doctor.
