I've been considering getting a decal to highlight the corvette insignia on the rear I'm noticing two different types a flat decal and a raised letter type since my car is spiral Grey I'm thinking of going with black, any preferences to these different types of applications.

Consider going with the brakelight red epoxy decals that are sold by Mid-America (part number 606-751). I have them on mine and they look great. Here's a pic:

Have the same type as aboveGot mine from Ecklers, called 3D i believe. They are reflective and refractive...come in several different colors.. I have the brakelight red. Soft plastic but thick and rounded edges, seem to stick well and look great in the headlights.
Sorry don't have a good pic of them....about $50

I have a spiral grey coupe with the stainless letters. They definitely look the best. I tried to match my wheels, so if I had black or grey wheels I would go painted to match. I have Alum CCW's so I went with the stainless.

I used the vinyl ones first, they lasted about 6 months, then went in and did the plastic ones, they've been on for about 2 years with no trouble. I may go back and redo them again with the epoxy ones like JDs00PewterCoupe because I still think those look best.
