Ported Throttle-body....

Anyone have expereience with LPE C5 ported TB? Gains? Drivability? Throttle response? etc...

I ported my own, and can definitely say the throttle response is much quicker. I can only expect at least the same, but most likely better from LPE

Oh yeah...I also get this sweet whistle noise as I jump on the throttle, sounds mean

ported my ZO6 TB and resonse is much better it also works much better on my FAST intake

Thanks guys, got the same results on my C4. I was not sure I would get a better throttle response on the C5 with the ported mod.

A ported throttle body should have about the same effect on any engine. As you have increased, and smoothed, bore diameter when porting, any throttle plate opening is now greater than the same throttle position prior to the porting. It's why response appears to be greater. I have heard claims of 5-10hp increases, overall, but, if true, am not sure if that would be seen on a stock engine. Overall power increases would only be seen if the stock throttle body posed a restriction at WOT, IMHO.
