I patched a vinyl seat years ago with a kit I purchased locally. It was sort of a fill in liquid that was ironed in. It did the trick and the tear was gone but it was not perfect. You could still see a mark/blemish.

Most new car dealerships have access to a guy or company that will repair a torn or sliced seat. Dr Vinyl is one company that comes to mind... There is also a national company ( A religious organization ) that does this work... Most of these guys have a circuit they travel too . They will go to a particular dealership on a particular day once a week or every other week etc. Any damaged used cars or accidents in the shop are handled quickly and invisibly by these guys.
Call around and ask? Most will allow you to have them Fix your car
