I've seen that a while ago, but I still can't seem to figure out how the Corvette lost control like that. It didn't even seem like they were going that fast.

What a maroon. Even at slow speeds, an idiot driver is an idiot driver.

I agree, and if he/she has such poor driving skills, they should leave the active handling ON...

Was probably looking around on the floorboard for the note from his mom about not wrecking Dad's vette while he was away on business!

While not the smartest thing in the world I've driven around in the RAIN with AH and TC off...this guy is a tool or the squirlle from hellp pimp slapped the backend on that thing. Seriously though, if you don't mash it to accelerate its actually fairly hard to do that...of course you have to look at my past cars to understand why I have a light foot EXCEPT when I'm sure its safe.

First car wee little chrystler lebaron vert. Went from that right into a 1997 Z28 scared me s!tless and developed a light foot. From that I went to 2003 Z06 first stick car....even lighter foot. Also 5 years on bald/pure summer tires through the dead of winter with the Z28...no accidents (did lose control in 4+ inches of snow a few times learned how to recover on the fly lol) ....sink or swim, guess I swim lol.

Even with all that I am still confused how that happened. I'm thinking foolio mashed the gas and hit some sand/dirt on the road kicking the **** out into that tree.

Looks like the guy lifted too quick off the throttle in the corner, transferred the weight to the front wheels and around he went. Too bad a great car is only as good as it's driver.

Old tape. If you replay it and watch his lines thru the corners you will see he can't drive. Looks like he got on it in the approach, scared himself, got off of it, spun into the tree. Hate to see a vette get smashed.

And what a stupid place to play Road Racer --- blind hills and curves with traffic with lotsa trees on both sides. No margin for error!!
