At purely random intervals my turn signals quit functioning. Then just as mysteriously as they quit, I will signal a turn and they will be working.
At first I thought it might be a faulty connection in the steering column somewhere (a lot of moving parts). A firend of mine thinks I should just replace the flasher unit in the fuse panel.

I have the same thing and the dealer ordered the hazzard switch. Says the turn signals go through it.
I had the same problem right after i bought my car. I could get the signals to work sometimes by pushing the hazzard switch in and out a number of times. The dealer changed the flasher and i have not had a problem since.
