Rear hatch rattle?

Rear hatch rattle?
I'm getting a noticeable rattle from the rear compartment and it appears to be coming from the rear hatch- although it's hard to tell, as it could be below the latches. I've tried several lubricants on the latches, to no avail. Anyone else experience this? Solutions?

rear hatch rattle
i also have a rattle from the rear hatch of my 02 coupe. i notice that the hatch is not quite closed flush with the body and there is a little play. so how do you tighten down the hatch to fix this? thanks.

The latches are adjustable, could it be something rattling around in your CD/ rear storage compartment? just a thought. I got a rattle from my center console and was wonderin' WTF, it was 2 quarters in my shifter boot.

I don't k ow if this is what you have or if any others have seen this but when you open the hatch, at the inside top of the body there is a plastic piece that came loose on my 02 coupe. I put some silicone on it in several places and it stopped the rattle for good.... check this surround.
It was a PIA to figure out that the rattle was coming from there....

Rear hatch rattle solved
I pulled away the two interior panels that cover the rear hatches and the sliding bolts for the top cover. There are 4 nuts on each side and almost all of them were loose. I tightened them all, and the rattle went away.
