cd changer repair
Hi, I'm usually in the c3 section because I have a 71. My question is: does anyone know of a place that repairs the factory cd changers? My brother bought one for his 98 trans am from someone on another forum and it came in broken. I am tired of fighting with this guy and he won't give my money back. This is the same changer that came in c5s.

I used to be in the business and nobody liked working on factory equipment. Your best bet would be to contact several GM dealers around town or near by areas and see if they have any repair shops they do business with. But expect it to be very expensive. You would be better off cutting your losses and put in a good aftermarket system. Good luck.

With the factory (GM, Ford and Dodge) units we couldn't get parts, schematics or service manuals. If yours is a Pioneer, then there is hope. Have you tried any local audio/video repair shops? Some places like Circuit City will take them in and ship them off to a repair shop. Hope this helps.
