Does the C5 have more room to carry golf clubs and luggage than the C4? Will the clubs fit sideways in either coupe? I am shopping for a Vette, and am trying to decide which is best. Thanks

You can put two sets of clubs and luggage in a C5 Coupe. 2 sets but limited luggage in a Z or Vert.
I can only get one set of clubs in my C4 and I have to lay the back of the passenger seat forward. I have a pro-style bag and it is a little large. No problem in my C5. I could get two sets in the back if I had too.
I can store more in my Z06, in just the far rear section (where the trunk partition would be located) than I could in my C4. Golf clubs...no problem in the Z. I can even fit more groceries in the Z06 than the C4.
I have been able to fit two bags in my C4, with the exception of the drivers, which I had to take out and run them lengthwise either on the cosole(going all the way back) or in the space between the seat and door. Hope that makes sense.
I have had both a C4 and a C5 and the C5 has a lot more room. I have the targa car. help it helps you make a decision. if You have anymore questions ask or pm me.

Even with the top down there is more room than the C4. It's easier to load and unload too....
Big difference in amount of space in the coupes, but the most important is how you access it. The C5 basically has a trunk, as opposed to C4 (and C2s and C3s) which has "storage space" behind the seats, which is somewhat of a PITA to access IMO.
I take vacations in my C5, and don't leave anything behind. I would never have done that in my C4. (or 3 or 2)
I had a 89 coupe - and I had to lay my clubs from back to front, with them covering the center console and somewhat restricting my shifts. This was the only way I could get them in without putting stress on the shafts. PITA.
My 98 vert can hold 2 sets of clubs in the trunk w/ room to spare. Gotta love that! Perfect for golf excursions.
