One other consideration for the 5" vs 6" cans, do you have a M6 or
A4? Generally resonance is less of a problem with the M6 because you have more control over engine rpm. The A4 cars tend to cruise at around 1500 rpm in town and that's where the resonance is worse.

The main difference is the interior drone. The Magnum series will have the drone while the 6" Bullets will not. The Magnum will be a bit loudewr on the outside.

Sound and perception of sound is always subjective.

I have the 6" cans. Just the perfect sound. (Gets even better with headers, cam, etc)

I agree! I purchased and installed the GHL Bullets, (6 inch cans) on my stock '00 A4 Coupe, and I love the sound and get ton's of compliments on both sound and looks. I do have some exhaust drone @ 1,400 to 1,500 rpm (approximately 60 miles per hour), but I can live with it since I don't drive at that speed very often.

Thats not drone, thats a louder volume of just having an aftermarket exhaust.

Drone is a sound nobody can tolerate. Its so deafening you cant talk to your passenger and you have a bad headache once you get to your destination.
