Not sure what this is, but anything above 65ish mph, i get a vibration that feels like it starts in the seat and then travels up my arm into the steering wheel.
this happens about once per second it feels like.
i havent had anything checked yet, just wondering what it could be if anyone else has seen this.
it doesnt seem to change with road speed at all, 65 is the same as 85.
it could be a couple things first your tires might not be balanced second check the wear on your tires you might of worn the tires.
look under the car to see if anything is broken or bent you might of hit something also check your rims one might be bent
good luck
i dont notice it at anything under 65ish mph, and it doesnt seem to matter what rpm im at or what gear... which leads me to believe its tire / wheel related.
first thing to check is torque the wheels! they have been known to get lose.
If they are loose, you wont be going over 65 for very long! Most likely, you have a balance problem in the wheel/tire. Check your tires for uneven wear, especially the inner edges on the front, which may alignment related. Other places may be in the driveshaft, rear axle/differential and wheel bearings, but I'd check the wheels/tires first! Good luck!
I have the same thing in my 02.. but the speed is anything over 80 .. I posted a thread http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1486218 and others suggested balance too. I am going to have that done soon. Car is not my DD, so i am not sure when I will have a chance to do it, but will post results after.
I had this problem starting about 70 mph. It was really annoying. I had it checked by the place I have bought tires before. There was uneven wear on the tires. New tires and it's all gone. Of course balancing is a lot cheaper.

Check your harmonic balancer as well. I had a vibration that I couldn't find......until one day my harmonic balancer gave way. One of the scariest sounds I've heard.....I thought the motor was totally blown. But sure enough....after a new one was installed.....no more mystery vibration.
i had something like this in my z and it was in 3rd and 6th gear at 2200 to 2300 rpms. turned out to be my B&B prts causing a resonate pulse through the car. the exhaust could be seen vibrating when this was happening. check the tires first and after you have checked the suspension then look at this as a possibility. it went away when i swapped out to the stingers.
It does not look RPM related since you feel it only at speed. Start with simple stuff. Get the wheels balanced. One of the wheel may have lost balancing weight. It append to me several time.
I have the EXACT same problem. No one can find it...so far. The car goes in for gear t/c in October so I'm hoping these guys from something. Rear tires have been road forced not once but twice & same vibration. I feel it in the seats & console just like you. If you find a fix..Post it. I'll do the same.
I get a little vibration from mine at around 80 when it's in "touring" mode. When I change to "sport" it seems to go away. You might check to see if it happens in both modes.
Some possibilities
1. a slightly out of round (bent) wheel . No visible to the eye but noticeable on a Hunter road force balance...
I just had this diagnosed on my Vert...
2. The factory lock washers that hold the rotor in place on the assembly line are still in place. OEM rims are relieved to accomodate them, some aftermarket wheels are not... meaning the wheel is 1/8" further from the rotor on one lug than the rest resulting in a minor imbalance that is not noticeable at lower speeds.
3. Do you have aftermarket chrome plated brass valve covers? Were they installed after the wheels were balanced?
4. Do you have stick on weights and has one been thrown off?
Any chance that a factory crimp on weight has been thrown off?
My Vert has lost two in the past year....

He's actually right on this one Steve, I've seen it happen with an aftermarket wheel where the hub area is not recessed, like the OE wheels. I doubt this is likely in this case, though.....
I have vibration problem on 02z,it is slight at idle, worse at 2500-3000 rpms.I feel it in drivers seat and if my hand is on shifter,it feels drivetrain like, driveshft, harmonic balancer unkown?Getting worse,am taking car to dealer thurs.Thank goodness for extended warranty.I will report back when I know priblem.
