Default PRT's for Bullet's

Wife wants to upgrade her stock exhaust on her 03 AE Vert. I've got the B&B PRT's on mine and love them but am willing to let her have them and I'll get the Bullets. The PRT's sound great when you jump on it but I'm sure all of you know, louder is better! I know they sound good but I'm also interested in hp and tq gains. Any idea what kind of gains I might expect with this setup? I'm currently running 342's, and a Blackwing with a stock 02 engine and A4.

Been real happy with them. Had them on my car for 2 yrs now and they still look great. The polished mufflers & tips get a lot of attention at car shows. Some resonance at around 1500 but not bad. Actually it may be just my imagination but it seems to have gotton better over time. And they do ROAR at wot!! Think you'll be happy with them.

i had prt's on my z06 and they did not drone at all. they were too quiet for me. they did sound good but just not deep enough for me. i went with borla stingers and they are just right. they are loud and deep but do not drone at all. i didnt really notice any power change with the swap. the B&B bullets on my frc do drone a lot though. i had to add a partiton and insulation to fix it.

I dont think there is any secret that the Bullets are the loudest C5 exhaust...be advised..if you start adding more mods..the bullets get louder...and louder. I have to wear ear plugs my bullets are way too loud with too much drone. Just giving you a heads up.

However, I dont think it is any secret that when you punch it, the bullets are one of the meanest sounding exhausts you will ever hear on a C5!

just a heads up: I just put Bullets on my 01 vert A4, otherwise stock and have very annoying resonance on mild and normal acceleration, not too bad on hard acceleration and okay at cruise

its bad enough that they are coming off in the spring and will replace them with Stingers and sell the Bullets for what I can get

I have Corsa Tiger Sharks with LG lontubes on my wife's 2000 A4, and Stingers with Dynamax longtubes on my 01 6 spd so I'm not bothered by loud but this resonance is bad

maybe you're just going deaf from the resonance?
