Default Foglight Screen Template

I removed the fog light surround and am trying to find a template for a screen insert. I’ve spent most of the day searching without any luck. Can anyone help?

i made some a couple of months ago. i used cardboard for the emplates and i got the wire mesh at lowes. i ran 2 strips of weather stripping around the opening and then just fitted the wire in between. i think i paid $15 for materials for the fog light, brake ducts, and side grills. ill see if i can find the templates when i get home.

not the best pic but here is how they turned out.

Are you mounting the screen dirctly in front of the insert? I just purchased a set but, they have an 1 1/2" thick plastic frame that just slips in front of the fog light insert. You don't even remove or have to mess with the insert at all. Are you puting a screen directly in front of
the insert sandwhiched between it and the front facia? Can you stick a piece of paper or cardboard behind it and trace the shape of the whole
for a cutout? Make it a little larger and use the 3m tape used for the other screens? Just a thought.

I removed the insert entirely. I'm trying to get cooler air to my Halltech Stinger.
I purchased some stainless screen and some rubber ribbing.
I've been playing with cardboard and scissors but can't get a fit that I like.
Mounting from behind would really look good - no black perimeter - but there are not any attachment points.

Just another idea. I left my foglight inserts in. used a dremel tool and cut a hole next to the fog light to get more air pretty much the same diameter as the opening. since you have the inserts out can you mold the metal screen around the insert itself after cutting them out for airflow, then reinsert them with the screen between the insert and facia. The brake duct screens right next to them are done that way.

That's a good idea. Thanks
