Power Programmer
A friend of mine had a 2000 A4 but has since sold it. He gave me his Hypertech Power Programmer, but after reading the instructions I think that it is kinda useless for my 2000 MN6. So I was just wondering if it is useful for someone else aka worth selling or is it only good for the vehicle it was originally purchased for? If it is useful for other people, who wants it?
As long as he put the stock tune back into it you should be ok. ( that is the most important thing ) If he sold his car with the Hypertech tune still in it , the programmer is no good to you.
You also need to make sure the same model of programmer is compatible with your car/year.
I had a hypertech programmer for my 2000 Mustang GT , I thought it worked pretty well. not like a custom tune but all in all pretty decent . Nice to be able to adjust for gears , shift points , tire sizes ect... and get a little more power out of it.
