Default Rim Sizing

What would you all recommend for new rims for my 2000 Coupe, 18s front and rear or 18s front and 19s rear? What are the pros/cons of each? Any input or opinions are welcome.

In my mind the only reason to get 19" rears is for aesthetics. If you simply must have "the look", which of course is purely subjective, then by all means. Otherwise I feel the 18" rears are superior in so many ways: less initial cost for tires (and possibly also wheels), greater tire selection and availability, less weight, they will hook up better [all other things being equal I THINK].... That's all I can think of at the moment.

I would agree with all your observations. The 19's in the back will definitely giver you the "look" if that is what you're after. I went with 18's all around and don't regret it. I'm using 18x9.5" up front and 18x10.5" in the back.

I wanted the look so I went with 19's all around. That being said, I haven't noticed any decrease in performance while driving the twisties here in Cali.

Are you able to put 19X10's on the front and rear?

Sorry forget I asked, thought I was in a C6 thread.

I also have 18's all around and I'm quite pleased. I don't know how different it would be with 19" rears, but the way it is now my car still rides great.
