Default LED turn signal lights

I want to convert my front markers to LED. Currently I have to remove my intercoolers to change bulbs, so I want the long life. Has anyone done this. The LED web sites say I may need to add load resistors, and/or an electronic flasher unit. DO I need either? I just want to make sure I buy all the parts I need. I have a 2001 vert

thanks

You can just pop out your front 3157 bulbs and add the LEDs however they will now flash in hyper mode like when a bulb is out. pretty ghey if you ask me. or you can slice in some resistors...

You will need a 6 ohm resistor to avoid the hyper flash syndrome. You have a pm.
