OK, so I've taken my car in 3 times to have the convertible top fixed - no success. The last time new gaskets were supposedly installed.
Is this a problem with the repair tech? Anything I should be looking for to be correct - Anyone with a photo of how the driver's side should be sealed?
I don't have time to find it right now but I recall someone suggesting lubricating the seals very lightly. As far as I can tell it's just another quality job by Chevy......
Right now this is beyond lubricant! It started out as a drip and now it's niagra falls.
I'm whining, but I would think that a car that originally cost 57,000 would have a little better quality control. I would also think that a dealership would pay better attention to a car that cost upwards of 60 grand as well.

That's because I wrote it, I think.
I used Dielectric grease there and it helps it mates with the window and repel water. However, if he has a steady POUR, not just a stream or trickle, it's more serious and the window need to be adjusted inward, which requires removing the door panel and adjusting the window adjustment points.

Now that is a tip I can use! I didn't know that it could be adjusted inward, but based on the leak that sounds like a logically thing to try. Tomorrow I will talk to the dealership about that because I don't think that has been tried.
How hard is it to adjust the window inward? Is this something I could do myself without any special tools?
Not sure but there are threads that have been posted in here before. Pretty sure all you need is a socket set and a scredriver, but I could be wrong. There are adjustment nuts to do this. Have a search on window adjustment.

there is a good chance that its just a simple window adjustment(top tipped in a little)...hope it works for you.
