I just bought some Z06 TI's to replace my corsas.. I was wondering if there were any tips on how to clean them up or what to use?
figured i'd go all out on both of them while they are off.
Titanium is a difficult metal to work with. Try a buffing wheel with some polishing compound if you want to try to shine them but it is not likely you're going to get a reflective finish. And if you did, the only set of circumstances where people get a chance to appreciate them would be something like "Dayum, he rolled that sucker two and a half times, but ain't his mufflers nice?"

There was a post quite a while back that showed the results of a forum member polishing the Ti exhaust. Got to admit, the end product was awesome. Might try a search and see if anything comes up.
2 unnec. noise ticket in a month at $90 w/ court cost was enough for me to realize my vette is a lil loud... also the neighbors in my apartment complex have made a fair number of complaints..

still gonna be loud....
mild cam, LT's no cats...
Will the titanium muffler without the cat be enough to get the noise level down?
Mine were covered in road grime and baked-on asphalt when I bought them used off a member here so I sprayed them liberally with Simple Green and went at them aggressively with a brass wire brush. I scrubbed the heck out of 'em for a good 45 minutes until they were spotless. Ti is some tough stuff and there is not a single scratch on them, even from this rough treatment. Here's what they looked like after.
They're a bit dirty here but stay pretty clean with an occassional wipedown.
