Default window valet

How do you guys like the window valet? I have a coupe but figure it will make it easier to get in and out of car in garage and nice to drop the windows while walking to car if real hot out.

Who has the best deal on them?

Thanks for any direction!

Marc- You will end up using it alot. I have a coupe also and down my windows before getting in it every time.
My advice, keep your eye open for a used one.. That is how I got mine. I think there there is two folks selling them for under $120.00..

Good luck!! Tony.

I have it on my coupe as well. I love the ability to raise and lower the windows. Also like the fact that now if I'm dropping (or picking up) somebody I just have to pull up on the parking brake to unlock the doors. I have a 6-speed. I believe for an auto you have to put it in Park. Here's one for sale at a very reasonable price:

Vert owners really love - em. I use mine every time I drive.
It is great to have the windows down before you get to the car.
For putting top up/down its really a time saver. You'll never have to get back in you car to put the windows up/down again.
I paid full price 2 yrs ago and its the fastest MOD for the car there is.

Even though I have a coupe, it SHOULD have been a standard feature.

Once you start using it you will not be able to live without it.

It's another one of those things that's not worth what they get for it, but I'm glad I have it, and would buy it again.

Love it! ...besides, it impresses the heck out of people when you hit your key fob and the windows go down and the music comes on!

$135 shipped brand new. Nobody beats that price new.

I also recommend their aluminum gas and dead pedals. They look great.

If you buy it used MAKE SURE to get the original documentation. There is a PIN# involved with setting it up. If you have that it only takes a couple minutes to do.

Thanks for all the great input. I am selling some C5 parts to mitigate the cost so I will order as soon as some cash comes in haha. Mod fever takes a back seat to saving for a new house these days haha.

This feature gets used almost all the time on my C5 vert:
  • RAP On Demand: RAP is ‘Retained Accessory Power.’
This feature will enable accessory power even when the
key is absent. When accessory power is enabled by the
Window Valet TM, power to the stock radio is maintained,
even when the doors are opened. In the case that both
doors are closed, the power window controls on the door
are also functional. This is an invaluable feature for
when the driver must take the keys and leave a
    passenger in the car.

This is one kewl product!
