Finally, a real catch can






The PVC worked fine, except that it deformed a little from heat where the hose clamp squeezed it on the bottom.
The new one uses the same removable bottom (a hardware store pipe cap) for access to the inside, and has the entry at a tangent on the side so the air is swirled against the walls of the can before exiting at the center top.
The can just sits there, held in place by the hoses and surrounding components, doesn't require any brackets. Inserts right into the existing plumbing without any modification. Might need a bracket though without the blower to hold it in place.
