Pilot bearing from Hell
This must be the cousin to the Demon Key.
I started to take it out on Saturday at 9AM and just now succeeded at 1:20PM on Sunday.
Is there something I dont know about that would have made it easier? Finally made my own extraction tool which took it out but, man oh man, was that puppy in tight!!

if ya dont do wrenching for a living any snag can turn into a night mare a dremel type tool can be used to cut a slot .hey i retired after 27 yrs. plenty "easy jobs" broke my chops ya got it out with out making more damage. i towed in a rx7 that the guy butchered the crank end almost twice the size of bearing. 3hrs with an air grinder i fitted a 65 chevy bushing to it . inner dia. was perfect for mainshaft . he was happy to give me 1300.00 . rather than buy a crank for the rotary motor
Hard as a **** to do it without the tool. I feel your pain...
