Mouse = Check Engine Light!
Turns out that a mouse had nested in the engine compartment and chewed threw wires and some hoses.
Guess this is what I get for taking a job where I can work from home and keep the miles down on the vette!
Pest control has been called- NO SIGNS AT ALL IN THE GARAGE!

Chewed/ate the insulation around the first 3" of all the wires in about 10 wiring harnesses under the fuse block..
A major mess..
Same deal as you.. no signs, but mine sits outside in a driveway.
Driven once a week or every other week,,, Lots of daytime activity on the driveway, kids, bikes, my truck, wife's car etc..
But still, quiet & peaceful at night..
In 13 yrs living where I'm at this is the 1st episode involving a car..
However, when I open up air conditioners, there' always signs..
in EVERY unit..... ....
I put some moth ***** in a mesh bag under the fuse block & wire tied some to the frame...
Keeping my fingers crossed it won't happen again...
But, I'm not betting on it..
MY trap with the chunky peanut butter got him- he licked one clean and tripped it without getting caught- second one down the line, he was not so lucky.....
