If you do a search on this topic, you'll find a lot of information. It's a common problem with all c5s. I've had my 04 to the dealer 4 times now to stop leaks on both the right and left sides. The last time appears to be working. It's the very reason why I purchased an extended service agreement. The first time I started to notice the leak was around 6,000 miles. I now have 18,000 on it. I can tell when it starts to leak because the rear end starts to get small spots of oil on it. I don't think these are cheap fixes at the dealer. Good luck.

Yes, it is a common problem. Had mine repaired three times for the leak. Last time seemed to work for me also, since it has now been better than two years since the last time it leaked. No recalls on this issue that I know of.
If its the side seals and your somewhat mechanically inclined, its not too bad of a job to do yourself. First time, it took about 3 hours. I went back in and checked my repair and it took 1.5 hours.
