I have been reading the threads and seen the letters (FRC) for exapmple a 99frc. What does FRC mean?

Fixed Roof Coupe in reference to car type. Sometimes you'll see FRC for Fuel Rail Covers

Fixed Roof Coupe. Basically the same body as the Z06 without the brake ducts. Suspension and motor are different. Transmission has different gearing. Tires and wheels on the Z are wider.
