I want to put an after market cat back system on my Z and am trying to decide between these 2 systems. I already have TPIS long tubes and want to wake up the exhaust note a little more. Do these systems flow much better than stock? And are they heavier since they're not titanium? I would only expect to pick up maybe 12 horsees, is that realistic? Thanks for your responses.
Almost a pure sound mod at best you might get 1 to 5 hp...maybe and that will just counter the weight increase if you get that much. (Yes they are heavier)
the best thing you can do to decide is to actually hear both cat-backs otherwise you'll be getting answers like "go with the stinger cause I have it" or "bullets'll do the job" the best thing is to drive both cars and hear them as well and you decide instead of us deciding for you

The B&B Bullets dual tips are 3 lbs heavier than the Ti exhuast, if I remember right. I picked up 3 hp verified on a dyno. I don't think they really helped at all, it was most likely just a better run.
The thing I like the best about them are the tips. I have the quad tips, and man do they look great. They stick out a little further and have a really beautiful finish. I hate to admit, but the tips are what made my decision. If I could have those tips on the Ti exhuast I would have kept it on, any aftermarket catback can get annoying if you are taking a long trip IMHO.
B&B PRT's. Not as loud as the Bullets, but they still wake up the sound of the exhaust. The exhaust note is not much louder than the stock Ti exhaust at idle. It just sounds cleaner and less muffled. At WOT all hell breaks loose. Best of all, little or no resonance.
I don't like the Stingers. They sound too "hooty" to me. The deepness sounds artificial. I think that most of it is from the resonance.
It looks like there are a bunch of people ready to order now. How about we put together a quick GP? Run it from now until about 4PM EST on Friday and then get all of the systems ordered before we leave that afternoon.
Pricing is lower than we should advertise so everyone will have to give us a call or e-mail to receive a quote (we don't use the board PMs - to many boards and waaayyyy to many PMs).
C5 Bullet part numbers are -
FCOR-0105 B&B Bullet C5 exhaust with twin tips
FCOR-0100 B&B Bullet C5 exhaust with quad tips
Orders can be placed online or by calling 1-877-482-9763.
Just went from the Corsa Indy pace to the B&B BUllets yesterday. Night and day difference in sound and looks!
The Bullets bring out the deep muscle car grunt that has been lacking throughout the powerband. The 4 huge cannons sticking out the back is the agressive look I have been looking for.
