Default replaced ext temp sensor..

A/C still reads 69degrees as if it's not connected.

Crap, now what? Is there a way to troubleshoot from here?

Based on the link I went in and cleaned the contacts, no luck. I'll try disconnecting the battery for a bit to see if that helps..

I do have one question though...
In the thread it states that the A/C disconnected defaults to 68 deg, mine is reading 69, do I have a condition causing this or do different years have different defaults?

Dumb question, but did you drive it yet after fixing it?
If you didnt, read the manual.
Or just go drive it over 45 for more than 2 minutes and get back to us.

Not a dumb question at all...
It's been doing it for about a week and I drive the car alot.

Could this be fuse related?

Then you must not be making a good contact at the sensor, or have an open somewhere in the harness.

another dumb question: Is it really 69deg outside?

Is it stuck on 69 all the time?

I wish it was 69 the whole time. I'm in DFW, it wont be 69deg most days until around Christmas time...

I'm thinking that's it. I'll just trace my wiring back to see what's up.
Does anyone happen to have a schematic of it?
