Help! My first owee and I wasn't even driving forward like a maniac. I backed over a darned curbstone :mad - the right rear tire went clean over and it came down on the rocker panel and cracked it just under the brake vent. :bb
A friend in our Corvette Club will fix and paint it, but how do I get it off? I'm pretty sure that I'll have to take the rear wheel and brake duct off. HELP!!
The rocker panel is an integrated part that is attatched to the door jam. You actually have to cut it off and mold another one on. Or you can have it patched which is the easiest way to go.
I will still have to take off the brake duct. The crack goes up under it. Do you know the best way to do this? I know one member painted his at one time and had them off.
BTW: I always liked your stripes on the white. It's a "One of a kind"!
