I have a Vararam now and would consider changing it for the Hurricane that WCC sells. But, I think ultimately I will change the Vararam for the Callaway.

Check out the Hurricane while your there. BTW I'll be going too, maybe we'll see you

When you see the difference in fit and build quality between the Honker and the Vararam the choice will be easy. Honker all the way!

Between the two you mention the Vararam is the better performer but fit/finish has been a problem. Callaway put a lot of engineering into the design of the Honker, power results are similar to the Vararam and the quality is excellent but because of that it's a bit expensive.

Having said that, the Blackwing will still provide gains over the stock intake, the price is reasonable and it's easy to install.

If you can afford it, go with the Honker. Installation is more involved but the results in appearance and performance are worth it, IMHO.

If you go with a Blackwing, make sure you also get the 1000 cfm MAF, W/O it any Hi-Flow filter is a waste, IMO

So far I have been pleased with my Blackwing - easy to install and does a good job of filtering the air. If I were to ever change though, I would probably get the Callaway.
