I am new here and bought a red '97 Coupe with 6K miles, perfect inside and out. I want to get rid of the wagon wheels.
This is kind of a tech question but has to do with vehicle appearance as well so I put the thread here. I am looking at CCW Sp20 whhels, maybe Fiske. Anyway, I also heard if we put C6 wheels on the tire might be cheaper for EMT's. My tires I believe are 17x9.5 in front and 18x10.5 in back, right or wrong?
If I go with CCW or Fiske I was thinking 18x10 on front and 19x11 on rear. Will this be Ok and how do you think it will effect the car and driving overall. Will the speedometer still be correct?
I do not know what size the C6 has, any info there and how they will work on my '97 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Stock wheels/tires for a C5 (non-Z06) are: Front - 17X8.5 with 245/45/17 tires and Rear - 18X9.5 with 275/40/18 tires. I don't know what width the C6 wheels are, but the tires are 245/40/18 for front and 285/35/19 for the rear. I have iForged wheels with the C6 runflats on them. They work, fit, and look fine.

CCW makes some absolutely beautiful wheels - and the customer service is top notch. Best bet is to give John a call and discuss your needs with him. He'll walk you through the plusses and minues of the various sizes.
