Wandering HUD
I've never seen this discussed on the forum. I take my '03 AE to work in the morning in the dark with the temperature at say 65. I set the Heads Up Display at a certain point. In the afternoon when I go home with temperatures 95-100 in bright sunlight, the HUD position is different enough that I have to readjust it. Don't know whether the HUD unit or the intrument panel is shifting with the heat, but it's a significant difference.

Maybe your body is settling. I know that when I adjust my rear view mirror in the morning, when I get in late in the day, I have to adjust it down. Maybe you get tired and don't sit up as straight. Or maybe, as you said, the heat is making some plastic piece change shape a little. Try looking at your rear view and see if it's still correct. Another thought, is that position controlled by the memory function when you put the key in? Maybe if it is, try resetting it and then hold down your memory button to reset it to the new position. Sorry for the long response with no answers, just some things to think about.
