I just received my ACA HID's from TByrne and need some help with the wireing, It comes with a relay and fuses in a loom for both sides, my main question is where do you pick up power and ground on both sides? any other tips or pictures (I really like pictures!) from anyone who has installed this kit would be greatly appreciated especially wire routing and ballast placement. Its a good looking kit but the instruction book is pretty generic and not just for the C5. My thanks to any one who can help
you paid all that money for a HID kit and didn't get C5 specific instructions? pathetic....
anyway, the power is connected to the positive terminal on the fuse panel next to the battery, there is a ground on the frame rail by the battery, you have to look down the left side of the battery on the frame rail.
I route the wires under the coolant tank, and along the top of the frame rail, (follow the factory harnesses), the ballast are mounted beneath the headlight assy on the fenderwell, do not use double sided tape, it will eventually come off, use screws.

Sent you a an email. I have instruction in PDF format that I can send to email address.
They came with a terriffic set of C5 specific instructions. If you PM Jim, I'm sure he'd be glad to help. I have seen him give his instructions to guys who bought the same kit from other vendors.
***You will need a dremel and a set of grinding bits or cutoff wheels.***
By the way, you're not the first one to complain that TBYRNE did not include any C5 instructions. He shouldn't force his customers to go searching for help after purchasing one of his products, especially costing as much as these do.

I agree, for what its worth I'm going to call them on Mon to let them know.In all fairness to TByrne they have been exceptional to deal with, I did get the lights on sale for $899 still high but it seems as though everything for the Vette has that added tax. I guess thats the price you pay to own your dream. Thanks to all who posted
I ordered black and waited 1 month, they were on bo, they had chrome available so that's what I got, with everything I've heard about ACA closing up I did'nt want to miss getting them altogether or wait even longer, besides when the lights are up its dark out and hard to tell if they are black or chrome, at least that was my reasoning

The reason I asked is because I ordered the black 6 weeks ago and still havent received them.
If you ordered them from TByrne see if they can get you the chrome, my thoughts are that the black is the most popular so harder to get, actually the chrome looks really good and at night who cares, besides when your driving at night all you really care about is the road ahead, well lit !!
