3.90's going in...
It's been a big month for mods, and Sunday the 3.90's are going to finish up my major stuff for this year.
I would love to hear some feedback from those that have gone from the 3.42's to the 3.90's in an MN6.
Guess it is time to start thinking about the non bolt on parts and what next year will bring...
So now I wait.
for Sunday.
Peace

I love my 3.90's, but I added about 150rwhp when I put them in so there is no real comparison to the before.

I have them also, with a M6. It comes out of the hole like mad. However you can kiss 1st grear good bye. Unless you want to shift in to 2nd in after 20 feet! I would not have it any other way.

I have 3.90's installed in my H/C car. I hate them so much that now I'm going to bolt up in a 402 w/ L92 heads and L76 intake to them.

I love my 3.90's! Best bang for the buck of any performance mod, IMHO.

Im glad i didnt do 3.90s and went with 4.10s. i was completely proven
wrong on how 4.10s may be too much.
im still getting 28mpg highway.
can still hit 155mph in 5th gear on a closed course track
No regrets. anyone on the fence of doing 3.90 vs 4.10s on an MN6, do the 4.10. (if your staying N/A 346of course.

Heads up.. what does it do to mileage. I have an A4 with stock gears (what are they 2.70s???). What is a set of 3.90s going to do for mileage... drop it 1 or 2 MPH???

I have the DTE Stage 2 rear w/ 3.90s in my Z... sticky tires are no longer optional. At 70 MPH in 6th, the 3.90s added 250 RPM. I lost 1 MPG on the hwy, but still get about 29 MPG.

I have had my 3.90s for a year and a half now and love them. It made a big difference in getting my heads/cam/headers car into the power band faster.
