Tune up question
I have a 2000 MN6 with 81,000 miles. Im the second owner. The Vette has never been tuned up. Is it time? Still has original plugs and wires. Vette runs very well only thing I don't like is that stupid skip shift... what are the best plugs and wires to run? The Vette has no mods at all. Thanks, Bill

Probably getting close to time to change the plugs at least. Might want to pull one of the easier to get to ones and see what it looks like. I'd recommend the NGK TR 55s if you do change.
As for the skip shift, you can purchase a CAGS eliminator and do away with the computer controlled shifting. Only costs about $20 from many of the forum vendors.

As far as the cags, get the eliminator. There are several low speed applications when it come in handy, costs less than $20, and takes a minute to install once it's up in the air. Some people say just rev it high enough, that's a stupid thing to say. There are real world applications when this doesn't work and the eliminator comes into play.
