Im thinking of doing this to my 04' torch red convertable,, would appreciate any suggestions,comments, or any feedback to help me decide what to do,, thanks rj

I don't like it at all , once you do that it would be very hard to sell the car in the future.

Flames yes, 3D flames no. Probably vinyl stick ons to boot.

no not just vinyl stick ons,, believe it or not its a hardend plastic resin, then painted to match car,, will cost about 2500 bucks,, thanks for the input!! later rj

Wait a minute - if its actual 3D resin, then it's over the top, and as others have said will kill resale. BUT there's no reason you couldn't get painted flames in that style - is there?

I really like the effect - best looking flames yet. But I'd want them painted on.

JMO.

You don't say where on the car you plan on doing this. If on the exterior, eeeeew. OTOH, on the FRCs, too cool.

Who cares........"IF" you would loose any re-sale. IT'S A CAR, do with it what would make you happy.........You obviously aren't planning on selling it anytime soon. It's not a investment, if it were, you would never drive it and just keep it locked up in a bubble!!! I think that would be different, and would definatly get good comments and looks, expecially when they see it's not painted on/or stickers.
