Im thinking of doing this to my 04' torch red convertable,, would appreciate any suggestions, comments, or any feedback to help me decide what to do,, thanks rj
thanks,, im leaning towards doing, it,, my only concern is the shop has only done bikes,, not cars,, shouldnt be a huge diff.,, just larger scale,, thanks for the response,, rj
Flames yes, 3D flames no. Probably vinyl stick ons to boot.
no not just vinyl stick ons,, believe it or not its a hardend plastic resin, then painted to match car,, will cost about 2500 bucks,, thanks for the input!! later rj
Wait a minute - if its actual 3D resin, then it's over the top, and as others have said will kill resale. BUT there's no reason you couldn't get painted flames in that style - is there?
I really like the effect - best looking flames yet. But I'd want them painted on.
Who cares........"IF" you would loose any re-sale. IT'S A CAR, do with it what would make you happy.........You obviously aren't planning on selling it anytime soon. It's not a investment, if it were, you would never drive it and just keep it locked up in a bubble!!! I think that would be different, and would definatly get good comments and looks, expecially when they see it's not painted on/or stickers.
