difference in vette and z06
i'm new to vettes and thinking about straying away from cobras.....possibly. if i bought a vette, the last thing i would want is to be blown away by a mustang so hopefully you guys can help me out with a few questions. first off, what makes the power difference between the regular c5 vette and the c5 z06? better exhaust? intake? heads? thanks.

I sold my 03 Mach 1 and bought a 01 Z06. The mach ran a 13.26 @ 106.26 mph bone stock with no mods. I have not run the Z06 at the track yet but I can tell you it is faster for sure and handling is no comparison. I was surprised to also find the Vette gets better gas mileage and was cheaper to insure. Go with the Vette and you wont be sorry.
