They provide coverage for limited use and allow you to drive to more than just shows.
They have plans ranging from <1000 miles to 5000 miles per year. I've run a quote on their web site for my vettes and there is a HUGE differencec in price compared to my current Steak Farm policy with equal coverage. They offer stated and agreed value.
I'm going to call tomorrow to get the more detailed scoop...
I have all my insurance w/ USAA. I called to insure my '78 Pace Car and they sent me to American Collectors Insurance. USAA is top knotch and I highly doubt they would have anything to do with them if there were any problems. They valued the PC at $25K and I'm limited to something like 5000 miles per year. Full coverage w/ 0 deductible costs me $179.00 per year.

When I purchased my '04 Z16, I inquired with SNEED INSURANCE, another company offering an agreed cash value policy. They also offer policies on late model cars. I've had three valuable tri five hot rod cars insured with HAGERTY INSURANCE and knew the advantages.
When I got the SNEED INSURANCE quote it was actually much higher in annual premiums with much less coverage and higher deductibles in all categories. Be sure to read and understand the company premium quote/policies on other restrictions that apply.

Any input would be great!
Steve,
Don't know what you are now paying but I ran my '04 through their automated Quote system. The annual premium that they gave me was 42% HIGHER than my current State Farm rate.

Hmmm
Don't know about ACI with Hagarty only insures classic cars. Believe the cut off is 25 years.

I'm an insurance agent in central NY & we have been pleased with using American Collectors for our clients. They require that the car be 15 yrs + old... Just put my father in law's 1991 vert. with them, but it will be a while until my 2001 qualifies....
FWIW, I have had my 84 vette with Sneed, Robinson, and Gerber for years...I am about to put my 99 vert with them also. As long as you have a daily driver, they will insure your vette with agreed value and the same liability/coverages as your "regular" car. My insurance for my 99 with them will be half of what Farmers insurance is charging me now. I like the idea that if my car is totaled, they will pay the "agreed value" not the blue book. The only thing I can't speak to is the service of the Sneed companies since I've never filed a claim with them.
I have Hagerty on my 02 Z and my 05 GTO and can put up to 3,000 miles a year on each vehicle. They also have 5,000 mile policies.Anything with a classic name like Camaro,Mustang and Charger qualify for this insurance.
