Here are some pictures of the flooring project I did this past week. I got tired of painting and repaiting the floor so I went with some plastic floor tiles. Now I just want to get some new cabinets and the garage-mahal will be complete

looks fantastic, are those tiles solid or do they have holes in them for ventilation from top to bottom?

My question, also. Do they allow moisture to pass through? Some older garage floors don't have a moisture barrier underneath. Also, are the tiles slippery?

choice in colors and pattern. I'm currently working on my own garage project and ended up going with an epoxy floor. It was a tough decision because the tile looks awesome and you can come up with your own pattern. Ultimately, I opted for the wet look of the epoxy but if it doesn't last me a good long time, I will opt for some tile next time around. Looks great.
Here is a pic showing the wet look of the epoxy, though it needed some mopping due to some drywall work I've been doing.
The tiles are raised off the floor on hundreds of little pegs to allow water and air to circulate underneath. I wanted tiles that allowed water to be able to move and evaporate from under the tiles. My floor is also not level since I have a floor drain so I needed something that could match the contours easier. Each tile has an expansion joint in between the 4 quadrants so they can expand or contract a little without buckling the whole floor. It allows the tile to slightly bend in four places and also makes the installation easier as you don't have to worry as much about leaving space around the outside edges.
They are not slippery when dry and I would that allowing the water to pass through rather than sit on top would help in that area as well.
So far the tiles seem really easy to clean. You can use a mop, rag, pressure washer etc. They are resistant to most chemicals and UV stable. The tiles are called Fast-Flor and I got them from a special on LS2.COM : http://www.ls2.com/forums/showthread...ht=garage+tile
