[Z06] Windshield Washer Leak

Windshield Washer Leak
I'm pretty sure there was a recall or at least a fix for the leakey windshield washer during hard accelleration. I put up with it for 4 1/2 years but I would like to fix it now.
I did a search on this forum and checked the FAQs and couldn't find anything about the leakey windshield washer.
Does anybody know what the fix is to keep the windshield washer from leaking during hard acceleration?

Hi Mark -
I think most folks just keep a half tank of fluid in it to keep that from happening.
I have never topped off the fluid in my Z....I probably should use the washer once in a while just to keep it in order....

Does your leak also go to the side during hard cornering and end up landing on the exhaust? I noticed a nice water trail going down the side right to the exhaust and it made a bit of a smell. I guess I'll just run it half full instead of filled to the brim.

I missed getting this fixed under warranty, partly because I don't like dealership service goons touching my car. Now I have to pay for the part and install it myself, as I am out outside of my warranty.
