With the key turned to accessory or on position (but no engine running), the driver window can go up and down, but the passenger window does not. Just has some clicking sounds. With the engine running, the passenger window works most (maybe all, I am going to test it some more) of the time. Is this normal?
With the ignition key 'ON', continuously press the 'DOWN' section of the passenger side window switch while banging hard on the door handle area. It might take you 100 times to do it (a few minutes) but it breaks loose almost every time.
The window motor gets stuck in the 'UP' position if you don't use it for awhile. So I try to roll mine down at LEAST once every couple of days.
Thanks Mark896. That really sucks. Next time I take the car in to the dealer (next week or two) I will bring it to his attention. My warranty runs out in about a month and I want it logged in as a problem.
I have had a similar problem with my 02 Z. The passenger window would stick in the up position though. A forum member recommended opening the door, holding the pass. window switch in the down position, and have someone else close the door with a little more force than I normally would. I have had this happen twice in 2 years and it fixes it everytime. I have NO idea WHY this happens though. Of course I can't duplicate the problem at the dealership making me look stupid!
