Just right-click and "save picture as." Then apply as your desktop. I think it looks pretty cool.

you have to go to system preferences, then to desktop...you should see your current choices...you shoud also be able to browse to the downloaded file and select it as your current desktop...at least I can on my powerbook using OSX 10.4.x tiger
