Default Polished Fuel Rails

Had a little spare time today ( really a few hours) so I polished these fuel rails.

Are those the stock rails?......that used to be black? What did you use to polish them?

Also, what have you done to get your intake all shiny and glossy?

Have I asked enough questions? Huh? Huh?

Looks like it's been smoothed down some and then painted. Kind of nice looking IMO.

Looks great.

You do realize the 4 hold down brackets, as well as the gusset around the supply tube are steel, right? If you did nothing to coat or protect those parts, I'm afreaid they may start to rust rather quickly.

Yes thats the formerly black rails that I polished.
I painted the intake the color of my Yukon, charcol matalic gray.
I have a polishing kit that I use for small parts like that.

I have a clear coat for poished metals that I'm going to try. May tape it up and just clear the metal parts.
