Driver side wiper stopped working
It was raining today and I was driving home. I was tapping the wiper switch as needed. Then my driver side wiper would not go up. Passenger was still working fine. When I got home I check it out (best I could right now). I can take the drivers side and move it up and down by hand, but I can not move the passenger side by hand.
So what do I do?

It sounds like you have the same problem that happened to me this past Sunday. I sold my convertible to a guy and he called the next day with the same symptoms. Turns out that it was a simple fix (for me). You will need to take the wiper arms off, then remove the plastic piece that runs the width of the car just under the windshield. Once this is off, you will see where the driver's side wiper linkage is (or should be) connected. There should be a ball joint type connection on an aluminum arm towards the dash. It sounds like you may have that ball joint popped out. Try there first and if that isn't the problem, your troubles should be in that general vicinity. Good luck!

or pop the black round cover [size of quarter] on wiper arm see if 14/13 mm nut is loose if index it then tighten like hell its splined so a new arm would help bite finish with loctite
