Default Motherf$&@(#% Ups!!!!!

For the second time this year, UPS has lost another package scheduled for delivery to me.

First time, it was two wheels. YES, WHEELS. How in the hell do you lose wheels?? Especially when the two that were lost had the independent boxes lashed together. Granted they showed up seperately about 2 1/2 weeks later, but the principal remains.

This time though, they've gone too far. They lost my Corvette Enhancements blackouts.

And each time it's the same story. I (as in ME, not them) must call the shipper to have the shipper initiate the trace. No customer support at all on the recipients end. I'm going to do everything in my power to never use UPS again. They're overpriced, unreliable, and have poor customer service. DHL all the way.

Well, I've got a pretty good guess how one could 'lose' a set of Corvette Wheels in the mail...

Sorry bout your misfortune... I hate UPS also, GL getting your stuff back...

They weren't corvette wheels. They were the wheels that are on our 99 Celica. Aftermarket, but expensive by no means.

I just don't understand how you can lose wheels. That is beyond me. it's not like "whoops! Where did that little box go?? Guess I misplaced it."

The box with the blackouts can't be too small either because it's the full 10 piece set.

We had DHL loose approx 25% of our packages.
Including a 1500 pound server on a pallet worth approx 3.5M

Needless to say we canceled using their services ..
It really seems area based .. fedex here .. UPS there .. DLS somewhere else.

We're on it Fastbird93 If they don't show up today, we'll put together another set for you. The shipment is fully insured and I'll of course deal with collecting from UPS. In an absolute worse case scenario, this could cause a 2-week delay in receiving your lights. If that's unacceptable, I'll pull all of the lights out of my car and immediately ship them to you You're in good hands bud, let's just see what happens today.

THanks Richard, we'll see what happens.

Just so everyone knows, Richard called me also and we're going to give it a couple of days to see if they turn up. I can't say how good the customer service from Corvette Enhancements and especially Richard has been since I even thought about doing his blackouts. This just continues to back that up.

I gave up on UPS years ago after their asinine tactics. Their Customer Service and "pass the buck" attitude is a joke at best. There are much better alternatives out there, USPS and Fedex to name a few.

Very true! In my little town here in Kansas, the UPS 'guy' seems to know everyone in town resulting in very good service. Fedex on the other hand...
