Saw this sad news item in the local paper about an unfortunate Corvette owner. Just a reminder to keep things under control when behind the wheel...

Truly sad for the driver's family, as for the truck driver who was rear-ended. Although this evidently wasn't the case here, we should all remember that our low profile cars are somewhat hard too see in traffic...especially the silver and the black C5 models. I'm always reminding my wife that tractor-trailers have huge blind spots, and it's always best to stay clear from them altogether whilst traveling over the road.
