Default Daily driving my vette....

I Just hit 95k and every morning I get in this thing, it puts a smile on my face. I couldn't ask for a better DD!

I'm gonna drive this damn thing till the wheels fall off, and then guess what? I'm gonna buy another one!

I thought I would die when my car got into the higher miles but now that it's here, it's no big deal. Still shines like a diamond and hauls @ss at the same time. What else matters?

The only things that have gone out on my car are the main crank pulley seperating, a front wheel bearing, oil pressure sending unit, clutch, a/c temps sendor (5 dollars), radiator cracked

The rest of stuff I've done to it is for fun

DD my 01 z and it has 55k on the clock. Just changed the belts and need to do a full system fluid flush in the next week or two. Other than that has been pretty trouble free although I am getting the active handling gremlins I need to track down. These threads remind me of my favorite car quote "Who are you saving it for?"

Hallelujah brother! I haven't had a car yet that didn't see 200k miles with me and I'll be damned if this Vette is gonna see another owner. I can't bear the thought of daily driving anything else!

The C5 makes an excellent daily driver (unless you get a lot of winter weather - ). Keep on enjoying the car.

Drive it!

I have owned Corvettes since 1974 and have driven almost 500,000 miles in Corvettes.

When you’re dead you’re dead a LONG time. (I still own all of them; with my latest purchase - a 2003 with 5,446 miles – that will change over the next few years!)

I bought mine in March with 56,103. This morning she read 69,814 miles. 13,711 miles in `6 months. 2285 appox. miles a month. That's 76.17 miles per day. I love to drive her daily, I don't think I could drive anything else.

I can't agree with you more!! I drive my Z everyday and I swear the smile on my face get's bigger every time. Now that I installed some insanely loud B&B Bullets, I'm hitting the gas every chance I get.

But why does every Stang, F-body, Firehawk, Coffe-can (Integra, civic, neon, 240sx) WRX STI, Evo Evolution 8 want to race me on the interstate???? They know they are going to lose!!

18K on my 04' Z06 and once the wheels fall off, I will buy another one!!
