Default New Guy, wheel question

Hello all...I'm coming from a wrx, as my name states; and I'm hoping to get into a vette within the next year or two, and I'm already thinking about wheels and maybe a few other mods. You can call me a ricer, it won't bother me, b/c I know I'm not but my question may lead you to think other wise.
Coming from a subaru, I'm familiar with Japanese wheel manufacturers such as Rays/Volk, Advan and the like, not so much the $400/set wheels.

So in this mindset I'm wondering if anyone has ever put a set of wheels from any of the major Japanese wheels companies? I have tried to look at bolt patterns and offsets, but haven't found any concrete info for the vettes. I would love a nice (if possible, deep) dish on the rear wheels, not so much on the front though.
I even went so far as to do a little photoshop of something I was thinking of. I'd appreciate any feedback/input or vette bolt patterns/offsets. Or any other thoughts on putting Japanese wheels on an American sports car, such as if it's sacreligious or not, haha. Thanks everybody.

Here's my photoshop

The C4s used to come with Enkei wheels so it isn't unknown to have Japanese wheels on a Vette even stock from GM. However, I haven't seen many Japanese wheels that are large enough for the C5. IMO the best looking C5 wheel is the 5 spoke Y2K OEM wheel. It is simple and elegant. All others are too busy and distract from the car.

I've seen one Enkei wheel that works on the vette, and TireRack is closing out their SSR wheels.

I am looking at a 18/19 setup of SSRs from Tirerack. Price is right, but is the wheel? I would love any comments, positive or negative, on SSRs, especially on a Z.

Your car, do what ya like! From the looks of your WRX, you aren't as 'ricer' as you may have feared (not a bad lookin' WRX, clean and neat) and not likely to 'rice' up a vette. You're gonna love the C5!

I thought about changing my wheels too, and that was on my pre purchase mod list, but after having the car now for a while, I think I will stick with the rims I have for the time being. My post purchase mod list is much different and simpler then my pre purchase mod list was. You may want to drive it for a little while then proceed. Either way I wish you the best of luck.

Mods I have done:

Shorty headers
Kribin shifter
Delrin ****
Audio upgrade
Bra (love bug season in FL)
Sound insulation

Here's my ride and wheels.
