R.i.p Ls6

First pass would be my motors last pass, did my burnout and staged, brought it up to about 5500 and slipped it. As soon as I came out of the hole I knew I had an 11.
At around 5500 in 3rd I started to hear a chatter and felt the car losing power, I stayed in it anyway I knew what was happening and nothing I could do was gonna remedy it. It held out until redline and suddered and shut off as I coasted across the line I could hear metal grinding and bouncing around in the motor.
I checked my rearview to see if I was trailing oil in case I had to stop as not to spread it all the way down the track, I saw none, nor smoke.
Final run ended up being 12.0 @ 113 coasting across the line
Ended up getting towed home and I am just in the middle of pulling everything apart. Theres a nice hole behind my starter and im sure ill find nice metal chunks in the pan when I finally get it out. The motor actually still runs and I still had a full oil pan, I love my car.
I actually have an LS7 thats going in so ill have it back on its feet in a couple weeks.
