Ok guys here is the story. Im on the highway messing around a little in the car i turn the traction off and speed a little, everything is fine, I pull into a parking lot, I park the car, I walk around for about 20 min., I get back in the car, I start it up and the ABS light is ON, and also the TRACTION light is ON. It says Service ABS Soon, Service ACTIVE HANDLING SOON, and also SERVICE TRACTION CNTRL SOON. I have no clue what happened, I thought it was some fault code so I disconnected the battery and waited for 2-3min, connected it back and the codes are still on. Can anyone help me please? it's my first Z i got it 3 months ago and I cant sleep hehehehe. Plz Help!
Thank you...Thank you....Thank you.....if you could.
you may need an ebcm. i think they're around $600.00. thats what mine needs. the code will tell you like in the previous post. there are posts in here that tell you how to fix it if you want to yourself. its a fairly easy fix.

electronic brake control module which is mounted to your antilock brake system pump in front of the engine driver side. easy to replace. you can make the code go away because its annoying by pushing reset 3 times each time you start the car. mine has been that way for 6 months and i don't mind although i will eventually fix it. you won't have tc, antilock brakes, or active handling till you replace it. although it could be something else in your case. i think its a common failure on these cars. besides, who wants all those driver aids anyway? they just spoil your fun. there are smarter people on here that can tell you more about the codes.

Your profile says you have a 2003, are you still under warranty? Even if your a little out in time if your miles are low you may still get some warranty help.

No warranty I went to the dealer and found out it expired on 11 of 05. I found out an interesting thing tho. When I was looking for the code it came up as C1214 meaning it was already displayed before, right? I made the dealer print out a service record of the car for me and from what I found the battery on the car has been replaced at 13K miles and 18K miles, this is wierd since I have 23K miles now and the code showed up. Could it be my battery, from what it looks like the milage numbers and battery replacement has been done every 5K miles. I read about cleaning the Grounds and the EBCM which I will do before throwing the money away but does anyone know if this problem might hae something to do with low ground straight from the battery???

The code will be followed by either/both a C or an H (such as P0300 C) ... C means it is a Current code (fault is occuring now) while an H means it is a History code (problem occured but has been fixed or has gone away). The C in FRONT of the 1214 means it is a CHASSIS code, other letters you may see are B (Body) P (Powertrain) and U (Communications network).
Disconnecting the battery will NOT clear codes. The only way to clear codes (besides fixing the problem) is to manually delete them when they are displayed on the DIC in manual diagnostic mode. Try that and see if after you have cleared the code it comes back as a C (Current code .... such as C1214 C ..... )

It can't hurt to check ground connections and test the battery, but the Service Manual clearly indicates that the solution to a C1214 is replacement of the EBCM unit.
Dic = Display Information Center.
Buttons On The Right Side Of The Instrument Panel Are Used To Access Codes,.. And Scroll Up & Down In The Dic .dic Reads Out Just Above Steering Column Neck. Hope That Helps Some.

This same thing happend to my 03 Z06 with 22k miles on it (same trouble code C1214 HC). I took it to the dealer and they replaced the EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) and the problem is fixed. I would let them at least hook it up and check it out, that only took 30 minutes. Luckily I bought the car with the GMPP extended warranty! Good luck to you and fixing your car
BTW, here are two links on how to check the codes:
