I pulled the vette out of the garage to give it a bath, opened the hood to blow the dirt out of the engine compartment with the air compressor when I saw the radiator hose was collapsed
Is this normal or abnormal? Engine wasn't warmed up, just ran it long enough to pull out of the garage. I started the car and it did open up again somewhat.

Air in the system will cause the hose to do that. The question is where is the air getting in the system? Did you recently change coolant? I would start with the cap and go from there.

Have not changed coolant, haven't even opened the cap in the last 8 months or so until just now and I heard a big whoosh of air. Started the car and let sit idling for about 30 min. temp went to 2o5 for a while then 217 for awhile then 226 for a couple minutes then back down to 217.
