help with offsets
i'm looking at doing either 19's or 20's for my 2002 z06...can anyone give any advice on what backspacing i should go with for fronts and rears in both 19's and 20's? i just dont want them to sit to far or to deep in the fendors..
also when doing tires for the mentioned wheel sizes what are good tires sizes to go with that will look just right for fronts and rears...

Howdy!
I'd just consult with a top tier wheel manufacturer like CCW or IForged - they already have specs for various cars, and you can just explain the style and fitment you'd like.
Personally, I prefer the staggered diameter - I'm currently running CCW SP500's in 18x10 and 19x11 rear. A 265-275 front width with a 295-305 rear width (and the appropriate aspect) look great and fit perfect without any modifications.
There's a number of C6 style repros on the market as well, available in those same sizes in various finishes.
Custom forged wheels will run $3500-5000+ for wheels and tires, repros of different styles more in the $2000 range.
FWIW, the C5/Z06 wheel specs:
Front: 17 x 9.5, 54 mm offset, 7.2" backspace
Rear: 18 x 10.5, 58 mm offset, 7.9" backspace
So that's 3.6" of outward offset, and 7.9" of backspace (the width of the wheel is the inner lip where the tire mounts, and the actual outer edge-to-edge measure is 1" larger)
